Mama said there'd be weeks like this...When I started 40x40 I knew it was going to be difficult. I did not account for illness. This was the toughest so far as we had house guests all week and I couldn't work late. Knowing this I dusted off an old unfinished Getaway Car song we recorded with producer Jeff Juliano for the 2004 All Your Little Pieces record. I stripped it of everything but the original bass and drums and rebuilt it from the ground up. Luckily I sang through it a few times before I came down with what might be the Piglet Flu. I soldiered on and finished it despite the chills and snot.
This month has been full of songs that got all emotional so here's a straight up rock song about asking a buddy to self destruct with you. Dan Garvin played drums. Chris Reardon played bass and Jared Bartlett played guitar. Micah Wilshire mixed.
