The first two 40x40 songs were very obviously inspired by my daughter and this one is no exception. She turns SEVEN this month so cut this proud dad some slack.
Unlucky Stars is about the moment when every bad idea, raw deal and big mistake I ever made suddenly became worth it.
This song was co-produced by Jared Bartlett and mixed by the superfabulous Micah Wilshire.
It marks my triumphant return to the drum kit and my beautiful daughter's first recorded vocal performance at the end of the song.
